I’m happy to report that the web site stats for this week are way up. Normally I get about 6 to 9 visits a day. I think half of those are from me updating shit and the other half are from people find the site by complete accident. I’m curious to how much effect Mike Greenberg’s article may have. There’s not a whole lot going on right now as far as film making goes.
Right now I’m working on the Real Friends DVD using DVD Architect 4. Normally I use iDVD on my Mac to author DVDs. There is a lot of nice tools in DVD Architect, like chapter makers and the scene select menu. Still trying to get everything figured out, but I should have a finished DVD by the end of the week. Christian Martinez has been harassing me about lots of out takes. That is going to be the longest part. Going thought all the footage looking for screw ups that aren’t boring. I think some of the cast wanted to do a directors commentary. That would be kind of kewl.
The other mini project I’ve started working on is adding all my short films to IMDB. I also created an IMDB resume for myself. I figured it couldn’t hurt. It should take about a month before they start showing up online. So we shall see. Recently I’ve found the more places I post links to the site the more traffic has increased. The blogging about 48Hr Film Project hasn’t hurt as well.
