I’ve been falling behind on my posts. So here is some new stuff.
I stumbled upon this over the weekend. It’s very funny and true.

Well as you can tell the site has been back up for a while after about a 2 week outage. I ended up moving my server to ServerBeach. I don’t feel like maintaining my own hardware anymore. Plus my software is getting old and i don’t have the spare cash to buy the upgrades. So yes, shameless plug for my employers. ;D
I’ve had a lot to blog about but not the time. Lots of good of good things going on. For starters 1-800-Tech-Support is officially launched. If you haven’t seen the first two episodes go check it out. If you like it tell others about it.
I’ve also been working on Whitney Hoy’s demo reel. She will be leaving to go to LA in July. So best of luck to you Whitney. It was nice working with you.
If you are in San Antonio on March 14th come check out the screen of the first episode of 1-800-Tech-Support before it goes online. Details below.

I showed a few of my co-workers a cut of Episode 1. So far the response has been very positive. I’ve noticed a few things I need to fix before calling it done. Mainly pulling down the audio levels and tightening up a few areas. I’m getting excited. I’ve spent 20+ hours editing this episode and when I watch it I don’t find it that funny. However watching it with a group of people and seeing their reactions, it begins to be funny again. I’m still planning the release for April.
Yes I know, I fail at this whole blogging thing. I’m sure people are wondering what the hell is going on with 1-800-Tech-Support. Has the project been abandoned, when will the remaining episodes air, will then world end on December 21, 2012? The answers are simple. No, yes and doubtful. The new year has started off with a real bang. That bang happened to be an 18-wheeler hauling rocket fuel and TNT running me down 180 miles a hour. Not exactly what I was looking for. *insert sad face*
Obviously the January release has been missed. Big time! Between unforeseen issues in post, a heavy work load of project at work and being sick the first half of January things have been delayed. We however are filming the final episodes and should be done with all the filming by the end of March. As for the release date for 1-800 it’s still up in the air. I want to make sure that thing get done right rather rushed. So we are looking at the end of the first quarter or the beginning of the second. This should give me time to get at least the first two episodes done done.
So keep an eye out for a trailer at the end of the month.
I’ve decided that this year I’m going to do things a little different. I’m not sure what that means yet, but when I figure it out I’ll clue you in.
